Requirements:
B.S. Biology, Microbiology or Medical Technology
At least 3-5 years in the MYCOLOGY lab
Responsibilities:
Understanding of procedures in Mycology Lab
Knowledge of performing KOH while understanding the importance of the procedure
Aware of Quality control performance correlated to Mycology (documentation)
Know and understand the procedures of identifying fungus in cultures
Preparation of smears and slides in Mycology
Experience in Animal Specimens need not apply; only Human specimens
